We are hiring a Producer to oversee project operations, production timelines, and team coordination for our Australia-based, artist-led creative company expanding into anime and digital media production. This role will manage project workflows, resource planning, and communication across creative and operational teams to ensure projects move efficiently from concept through final delivery. About the Role
As our Producer, you will play a central role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and aligned across departments. You will coordinate closely with artists, animators, technical teams, leadership, and external partners to manage timelines, budgets, deliverables, and production priorities across multiple projects.
This role is essential to supporting the successful release of anime projects, digital media campaigns, and product launches. Success in this position means reducing production bottlenecks, maintaining clear communication, anticipating risks early, and helping remote creative teams operate smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end production pipelines for anime, webtoon, and creative media projects
- Build and maintain production schedules, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Coordinate communication between creative teams, technical departments, leadership, and external collaborators
- Track day-to-day progress across storyboarding, animation, design, post-production, and marketing workflows
- Assign and manage resources to help prevent production bottlenecks and workflow delays
- Maintain organized production tracking systems using tools such as Notion, Miro, Airtable, Jira, or similar platforms
- Monitor project scope, budgets, and deadlines while balancing production realities with creative goals
- Lead production meetings, identify project risks early, and communicate practical solutions
- Oversee asset handoffs, version control, and delivery tracking for public releases
- Support accountability, communication, and collaboration across a fully remote creative team
Must-Haves
- Professional experience as a Producer, Production Manager, or Project Manager within animation, gaming, VFX, or creative production environments
- Strong production scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and project tracking skills
- Experience using project management and documentation tools such as Notion, Airtable, Jira, Miro, or equivalent platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing remote production workflows independently
- Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities
- Availability to work at least 5 days per week
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of anime or animation production pipelines, including pre-production, layout, key animation, compositing, or post-production workflows
- Experience supporting e-commerce campaigns, product launches, or commercial creative projects
- Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools or modern digital media workflows
- Experience working within agile or iterative production environments
