We’re looking for an anime-loving Creative Strategist to take ownership of the ad creative pipeline for our 7-figure jewelry brand.

You’ll bridge the gap between media buying data and our creative team, turning performance insights into high-converting, premium video ads that deeply resonate with the anime community.

This is a fully remoteflexible, long-term role with full-time potential for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who understands both direct-response marketing and anime fandom culture. You should know how to create ads that feel premium, emotionally engaging, and authentic — not cringe, cheap, or generic.

About the Job

As our Creative Strategist, you’ll own the creative direction behind our paid ads.

You’ll analyze performance data, identify winning angles, write hooks and briefs, guide video concepts, and work closely with editors and creators to produce ads that look premium and convert.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong creative taste, understands Shopify e-commerce, and knows how to speak to anime fans in a way that feels genuine.

Tasks

  • Develop high-converting ad concepts, scripts, hooks, and creative briefs
  • Blend subtle anime inspiration with a premium luxury jewelry aesthetic
  • Analyze creative performance daily to identify winning angles, fatigue, and opportunities
  • Turn media buying data into clear creative direction for editors and creators
  • Create reels and ads with strong direct-response structure and premium visual quality
  • Review video edits and identify what needs to change before launch
  • Distinguish between strong and weak creatives, then apply those learnings to future ads
  • Build a repeatable creative testing pipeline for hooks, angles, formats, and offers
  • Collaborate with the media buying and creative teams to improve ad performance
  • Maintain brand quality while moving quickly and consistently

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, Creative Director, or similar role for high-revenue Shopify e-commerce brands
  • Strong understanding of paid social creative, especially Meta ads
  • Deep knowledge of anime, fandom culture, and what anime fans actually respond to
  • Ability to write authentic copy, hooks, and concepts without sounding cringe or like cheap merch
  • Excellent creative taste and a sharp eye for high-performing video ads
  • Strong understanding of direct-response marketing psychology, pacing, visual hooks, and conversion-focused storytelling
  • Ability to tell the difference between a nice organic post and a premium, high-converting paid ad
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data and turning it into creative decisions
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and reliable
  • Available at least 6 days per week
  • Able to work independently in a fast-moving remote team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with jewelry, fashion, beauty, accessories, or luxury e-commerce brands
  • Experience creating ads for fandom-based products
  • Experience working with editors, UGC creators, designers, or content teams
  • Strong understanding of Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and creative analytics tools
  • Experience building creative testing systems or performance creative pipelines
  • Interest in manga, webtoons, anime merch, collectibles, or premium fandom products
